Thank you for the question on the sandblaster.

The fitting for the tank just pushes through the hole and you have a nut on the inside you thread onto the fitting to attach the hose to the tank.

The different size nozzles are for different size blasting media. The courser the media the larger the size nozzle.

Because sandblasting usually requires a constant air flow, you will need a compressor size that will give you that much SCFM.

However, if you have a smaller compressor you can use it but you may have to stop blasting and wait for the compressor to catch up. If you are doing small projects it should still work fine.

You can usually adjust the outlet pressure to help reduce the runtime of the compressor and still get enough air volume to move the blasting media.

That adjustment will depend on the size and type of blasting media.
