Thanks for the question about the dryer not heating, I will be glad to assist you with this.
When the electric dryer does not heat, yes it could be the heating element, or one of the thermostats and possible thermal fuse and even a wiring problem. You asked for element pricing and I have included it here,$61.68 w/ link Heating element . I have added below an image chart to help diagnose the problem. I hope this helps, should you need additional help reply with details. Always disconnect power supply before servicing appliance and when testing live voltage wear proper safety equipment
