The edge guide is considered an accessary so its not listed in the parts list, and Sears parts department said its no longer available and they don't have a part number for it. It is also not sold in Sears stores.

Update on the edge guide for the circular saw. The manufacture of this saw does not provide one for the saw but they say it will take any 3/8 flat shaft edge guide. I have found a universal one on our site and I will include it in the link below. Sam A.

TO Sam A : As I told Sears previously, I have purchased this 1400 guide, and it doe not work for the saw . On Saturday, at the insistence of Sears employee Elinor Fischer, I brought the saw to the Sears store in Schaumburg, Il. where the staff attempted unsuccessfuly to match the guides to the saw, as well as a new saw for sale. The staff then contacted Fischer and advised her that the 1400 guides will not work with this saw.. I have wasted several hours attempting to find this guide. If no guide was made for this saw, why does Sears refer to it in the owner's manual?

I am sorry that you are having such a problem with getting the correct size edge guide for this saw. I was told by the vendor that the standard 3/8 guide would work. Is the guide to thick or too wide to thin please let me know so I can inform the buyer and vendor that the standard 3/8 edge guide will not work. I will continue to research this if you can tell me why it will not fit and again I am sorry for the inconvenience on this issue. Sam A.

The 3/8 guide is too narrow for the guide slot, and the 1/2 guide is too wide.I also tried the guides from my other saws, three of them Craftsman saws, none of which will fit the 320.61325 saw. There is nothing standard about the 3/8 guide, since it will not work in most of my saws.

It appears this issue has been dropped. Quite shameful. Unless there are enough customers complaining about the poor business ethics it is unlikely to be resolved at all. The fact that 320.61325 offered the option of a guide is what tipped the balance on this purchase. Although I feel fortunate to have benefited from all of James' efforts, I'm still very unhappy that Sears would offer a product with no intent to support the design as presented. If anyone cares, I would like a guide too ... PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

The edge guide from the Rockwell Versacut saw fits perfectly, although the scale on the guide may not match up. Perhaps this is the "standard" size for 3-3/8 saws. You may be able to get it at Menards or other big box stores that carry Rockwell. Bob S

Thank you for the update and sorry I have not gotten back to you. The US contacts sent this inquiry to the China Tool engineers and they have not gotten back to them. However in the mean time the US group said they would be willing to send you a couple of new batteries free if you would send me your mailing address. Send your address contact information to me @ sande38@searshc.com so it will not be on the web page. Sam A.
