Thank you for your question. I will be happy to assist you. I had a table with the same miter slot in my wood top table. I took the metal slot out and used the router to open up the slot so I could use an aftermarket miter slot. This worked until I got a new table. If your tabletop is wood, you can try that. If the top is metal, this will not work. The best option is to purchase a new table. The reason being, if you modify the attachments now, they may not work with a 3/4 inch slot if you replace the table later. You can click here to see one of our inexpensive tables that may work for you. I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Thank you for your question on the adjustment of the router in the router table.

Adjusting the height of the routing will depend on the style of router you have. The routing will move with in its own housing.

The table does not raise or lower.

After removing the sub-base on the router and mounting it to the table you will need raise and lower the router with the style of adjustment that the router has on the router body.

Some have a lock stop with a slide adjustment and some you rotate on a spiral adjustment to raise the lower the height of the router shaft.

If I have not understood you question correctly please let me know.

considering the fence does not have a t-slot for the feather board to attach to I doubt this will work other wise a feather board would be offered as a accessory. However you might be able to put one in the tables miter slot if you find one that fits , but for your question about a feather board for the fence very doubt full. you should look int a fence from incra tools, kreg, or rockler.

A:

Corwin, This model router table has holes in the fence to mount the feather board I provided a link to. You are right, that feather board will not work in the table. You would need a feather board that uses the miter slot if you need the feather board on the table. Thank you for using Manage my life.
