We have the same problem with the washer, as well as the same problem with Sears Direct providing insufficient insight to resolve the problem.

We also are having the same problem. Washer won't power up, but sometimes unplugging and replugging it will be resolved. We had a tech come out and he found the ground wires to be loose, that was about 3 weeks ago and we hadn't had any more problems until today when it started back its old tricks. I am also curious if there is a diagnostic test. I went to the website recommended by Sears above and it says we probably need a new control board, might be time to buy another washer instead.

We are also having this problem. The troubleshooting section in the manual does not address this issue at all. The "expert" above doesn't either. I am going to try replacing item 450 (Washer Electronic Control Board - part number EBR62545101 - $133.24). I will report back...

Same problem here, did the power reset for couple of times before but this time, from yesterday, doesn't work anymore. I checked if power switch is even sending signal to ctrl board & it did so I'm assuming that it is the control board at the back of the washer is the culprit ( Need to do more component testing).

I have the same problem. I have owned the unit for less than 2 years. Unplugged the unit for several hours and retried with no luck. This issue is really unacceptable given the price of the unit.

I agree with Magdalena this washer was very expensive...because we splurged when buying this it was a mothers day gift only had it for 13 months and then this happens...this part must have a flaw so it should be recalled if you ask me.

Q:

Why does the alarm keep beeping on my Freezer model 253.23024101?

A:

I know how important it is to have a good working freezer in your home so that you can keep your food fresh. While you are waiting for an expert answer, I did manage to find a link that will provide you with some good information about what may be causing the problem on your freezer. I hope my link is useful.

On models that have a battery it will be located in the bottom toe panel. Your model doesn't seem to have a battery. The temperature alarm is still beeping and blinking because the temperature is probably too high. The normal temperature desired for a freezer is between zero and five degrees. The alarm will usually be activated when the temperature gets up to 15 degrees. If the temperature will not drop below 32 degrees this will indicate the most likely problem is in the sealed system. I would recommend having a technician check this and make the repair that will be required.
