Having to get wiring diagram for an appliance can be rather challenging. While you are waiting for an expert to reply I recommend visiting the Sears parts direct website were you can speak with a parts associate in regards to getting a diagram. Below I have provided the link.

I'm afraid there is not a schematic available for your grinder. The company that made this item for us is no longer in business. All of the support information went away within a couple of years of their being bought out.

I wish I could be of more help to you but I'm afraid I can't. If you're having a problem with the grinder you may have to find a local electric motor shop to have them fix it up for you.

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to repair your bench grinder.

If the short was in the power cord leading to the switch you could replace the power cord and switch and it should be okay.

If it did damage to the field winding of the motor it may not help to replace the switch.

I am sorry but the switch is not longer available for replacement. .

If you have an electrical shop in your area or if you have a Grainger supply store in your area they may have a switch you could use to try and fix the grinder.

I hope this will help.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.
