Thank you for your question. I know it's frustrating when the hot water heater stops working. Usually when the limit keeps tripping, replacing both the upper and lower thermostat will correct it. Now, a heating element can also cause this problem but it will usually trip the main breaker. I'm showing both elements to be the same number 31906 which changes to # 9000225015. Now, I have never encountered any water heater that had different size threads for the upper and lower elements. There is a special tool # 31913, which is available at http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-number/31913?searchModPar=31913&pathTaken=partSearch&prst=0&shdPart=&sid=MMLxexpertxmerch . You can also use a 1 1/2" socket. I hope this will help you.

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your vacuum cleaner release. We are here to help. When the handle is all the way up, it actually lifts the vacuum cleaner base. This is just a mechanical part. I suspect the pedal release or plate pedal is causing the problem. The pedal plate may be out of place or broken. I recommend that you take the vacuum cleaner apart and look at those parts. The part number for the pedal handle is 8174906. The part number for the plate pedal is 8174907. I provide a image below that shows it apart. Look at key number 34 and 35. I hope this helps.

To order parts, please visit SearsPartsDirect.com with the model number.

Thank you for your question on the replacement of the release pedal.

Turn the vacuum cleaner upside down and set the top of the floor nozzle onto the workbench or table top.

Locate the one screw that holds the clamp for the release pedal.

Remove the screw and clamp and remove the old pedal and install the new one hooking the metal clamp back into the hole on the chassis and return the screw.

Please reference the image below.
