Thank you for your question. I know it can be disappointing when the defrost system fails. The information you have received from Alina is very good. This unit has a defrost timer (# 6 in picture) in the control housing (# 1). There will be a small hole under the control housing and the timer dial will be located in the hole. Use a screwdriver and turn the dial clockwise until it clicks and the unit stops running. After a few minutes if you can hear a sizzling sound in the freezer, it means the heating element is working. In this case, it indicates the timer # 482493 is not advancing on its own and will need to be replaced. If nothing happens, it indicates that either the heating element # 2323198 or the defrost bi-metal # 2321799 has failed. In this case, I would recommend replacing both parts. These parts are available at http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Estate-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-TS25AFXKQ04/3191/0165000?pathTaken=&prst=0&shdMod=TS25AFXKQ04&sid=MMLxexpertxmerch . I hope this will help you.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

I understand your concern and I'm glad you did not attempt to remove the back panel because this is not how you access the water inlet valve.

In order to access the water inlet valve will require placing the control panel in the service position, disconnecting the lid switch harness connector from the top, prying the 2 cabinet retainer clips off and then tilting the washer cabinet forwards and walking it out of the way.

I added the basic instructions in the image below on how to remove the cabinet. See image below.

I researched the part but I did not find a substitute for the gaskets. You will need to have a Sears Technician or a Coleman Technician physically examine this problem and try to resolve it. Here is a link for the Sears Service website: Sears Home Services .
