Q:

missing question 315174321 Craftsman Router with double insulated with dust pick up

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you’re having with the router not powering up, and for the missing question. Our system has been updating and there may have been a system issue with the last question.

In order to remove the blower, hold the collet shaft and you should be able to unscrew the fan impeller. I believe that you will turn it clockwise to remove.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Thanks Jeff. I will give it a try and hope that the fan is not melted to the shaft. I will need to make a tool to grip two or more blades at once. I tried using just using my fingers and it will not budge. This router has been a really good tool in the past and hate to lose it over a simple problem.

Q:

wrench lost 315174321 Craftsman Router with double insulated with dust pick up

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
It doesn't appear we currently offer the manual for this particular model for download, we do have it in hard copy, which is part number 612547-565. The collet nut the wrench is used for is 1/4", so I would speculate to say the wrench is also a 1/4", so I would try that to see if it's a good fit.
I was able to locate a manual that you may view and download for a comparable model, the operation section will be similar between them, I would just urge you not to use the parts list with the manual, as there may be differences between the two models in parts. Just click the link below to view the manual, otherwise, you can use the part number above to purchase the model specific manual at SearsPartsDirect.com.
