Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance not working.

Yes there are step up batteries and combo battery and charger units available from craftsman batteries.

Like you said you would need to purchase a new battery charger but there are combo kits for sale.

Bill, thank you for replying, unfortunately you failed to address my question. I don't have any problem with my old C3 Craftsman products. They all work fine with the two OLD DieHard batteries that I have. I want to try UPGRADING the batteries to the newer PP2030 or PP2010 Lithium Ion batteries (which are still in the old C3 product style). My question is "Are my older C3 products compatible with either the PP2030 or PP2010 battery?" My current C3 Power Tools are: 315.115930, 315.175980, 315.115860, 315.115510. Thanks, Claud

How do you use sport inflator needle. I have the adapters but can't figure out how to use it. None to the threads seem to be the right size. Thanks in advance. 315115860 Craftsman Handheld ...

I can understand how important it is to have the right information for your handheld inflator.  There are two ways that you can use the sports inflator needle with this tool.  The first way will require you to remove the air hose.  To remove the air hose, turn the adaptor attachment knob counter-clockwise and remove air hose (see image below).  This will just pull out of the knob.  It does not screw in.
To install the adaptors without the air hose (see image below):
Remove battery pack from handheld inflator
Loosen adaptor attachment knob slightly by turning counterclockwise
Push the needle or adaptor inward until it stops (it does not screw in)
Tighten adaptor attachment knob by turning clockwise
To loosen, turn adaptor attachment knob counter-clockwise and remove adaptor or needle.
The second way to attachment the needle can be done with the air hose on.  To do this unlock the air chuck clamp first.  Then insert the need into the air chuck and push the clamp down to lock it into place.  If you would like to remove it; lift the air chuck clamp to unlock it, then remove the adaptor (see image below). I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
