Q:

Electrical switch 315108420 Craftsman Circular saw

A:

Next to the slots where the wires are inserted should be a smaller slot. Use a small finishing nails and insert and push in slightly in the smaller slot next to wires to release the catch and pull the wire out. Push the wires into the proper slots to re-connect the wires.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance not working.

The bearing is pressed into the saw support and the shaft is through it so the bearing may have to be removed from the support first.  A wood mallet and an open vice so the gear can be placed between the open jaws would be the way I would try it.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to replace a bad bearing on the circular saw.

  • All the bearings on the saw are pressed onto the shaft and you may have to get a small 3 jaw puller to get the bearing off.

  • You should be able to purchase a small puller from the Sears location or any Home Center tool department. Perhaps you have a friend that you could borrow one from.

I hope this will help.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.
