You can get an owners manual for the saw by clicking the "manuals" tab at the top of this page.

Q:

How do I replace the lower guard on a circular saw?

A:

Remove the blade and washer. There will be a retaining ring behind the blade and associated parts. Remove that ring and the guard should come off. Just put the new guard on and put the retaining ring back on. After that, put the blade and washer back on. Then, you're ready to use the saw again.
