Q:

Ken more Elite Model 66512783k310 not completing cycle and display flashing 66512783K310 Kenmore Elite Dishwasher

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your dishwasher. Upon researching 66512783K310; you can reset the electronic control board by unplugging the unit’s power cord for 5 minutes and then reapplying the power. If the problem persists then the electronic control board may have failed. The electronic control board governs the functions of the unit so when the controls board fails it can cause the controls to become unresponsive.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

I disconnected power for 5 minutes to reset the electronic control board. I'm still seeing the same problem. Is there a specific error code that would indicate failure of the electronic control board? When the cycle stops and lights flash they do so in a manner consistent with the door having been opened to add a dish but then forgetting to hit start/resume before closing the door (start/resume is flashing). Is it possible it is a door latch switch failure/problem? I'm not convinced the dishwasher doesn't thinks the door was opened and is requesting a start/resume button push before continuing. Is there a way to distinguish between these two possibilities? I'd prefer not to randomly replace parts if there is a way to verify a specific issue.

My unit is doing this as well. Where is the connection to the Vert Fan? I have reset everthing and even removed the Door cover to check loose or corroded wiring. Still can not get it working. I would like to try the vert fan to check.

I had the same problem with mine, Sears replaced main circuit board still had same problem. New tech came out replaced lower spray arm motor and sensor under recall, same problem. New tech came out replaced main circuit board again and touch pad assembly. HURRAY, so far has run its first full cycle since Thanksgiving, I think it was most likely the touchpad we'll see.

Q:

Fridge section not cooling 795.79023.310

A:

You may have some moisture in the airflow line which has frozen, preventing air from properly circulating. The best way to dry and see if this is the problem would be to unplug the unit for roughly 12 hours (e.g. overnight) to give the moisture a chance to melt and evaporate. Plug the unit back in, and you should feel a difference within just a few hours. This worked on my unit, although mine was a different model. That solved my issue, and hopefully will solve yours as well. I don't know if your unit is covered under warranty or a Sears Master Protection Agreement, but you could try calling their 1-800-469-4663 line and they may be able to help troubleshoot by phone, as another option. good luck!
