Thank you for your question. If you have the exact replacement, that works out great for the color combinations. Unscrew the transformer from the furnace and replace it with the new one. From there match the colors up. If you have a generic transformer replacement that is 115VAC to 24VAC, match up the high and low voltage wires.

You have an older furnace and I was not able to look up the exact model number, but the DGRT models are almost identical. I included the wiring diagram for that model which will explain where the wires for the transformer go.
