Q:

What model # do I need 247.28901

A:

I don't see a snowblower attachment listed for that tractor. It can use the snow blade that is model 24428. Here is a link for that blade: Craftsman Snow Blade Model 486.244283.

Q:

My water dispenser is just a dribble.

A:

Good morning... I can fully understand your concern regarding this issue. The filter may be an issue. I did locate a link that will discuss this situation in greater detail. Though this link discusses a different model number, the mechanics are likely going to be very similar. Keep in mind that an expert will be responding within the next two business days if not sooner and will likely offer you more information and instruction. I hope this link will help guide you as to what might be wrong with your water dispenser and have a nice day

Thank you for your question. I know it can be disappointing when the water dispenser stops working. The best method to check the filter would be to, remove the filter and insert a by-pass # 240396701. If the water pressure did increase now, it would indicate the filter was defective or there is low water pressure to the unit. Now, if the icemaker is working ok, the filter should be fine or the icemaker would also have a problem. In this case, the most likely problem will be with the water inlet valve # 240531101. It's available at http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-number/240531101/0046/253?pathTaken=directMatch&filterPart=&pop=flush&prst=0&shdPart=240531101&sid=MMLxexpertxmerch . I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will assist you further.

I disconnected the water line below the freezer door and the water from the fridge side was just a dribble. I have started my ice maker and it is working but it looks like the water source to the ice maker is also a dribble since the cubes are coming out very small. Since the by-pass you mentioned costs $28.91 (before shipping charge), it would be easier to just buy a new filter and see if that fixes the problem. If it does not, then the water inlet valve would seem to be the next step. I cannot find a schematic showing where the wtare inlet valve is located on this model.

Xork, from this latest information, if the icemaker is also getting just a small amount of water, it would indicate the most likely problem will be with the water inlet valve # 240531101. This valve is located behind the unit. Remove the back panel cover and you should be able to see the valve. You can also follow the water supply line, it will connect to this valve.

Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern. Based on the description listed, this sounds like the reservoir # WR17X11440 (# 810 in picture) that is leaking but it could also be the tube # WR17X2891 (# 812) to the reservoir. Both of these parts are available at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this helps you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.
