Q:

Mower blades not stopping 917.2750.21

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I will be more than happy to assist you with your craftsman tractor.

From the information you have provided above, I can understand the frustration of having your tractor malfunction, after researching model number 917.275021.if you have just replaced the belt, i recommend checking the routing of the belt. if the belt is routed on the wrong side of the keeper, it makes the belt too tight and the blades will not turn off. if the belt is routed correctly, park it on a hard level surface and remove the key. then look for the return spring on the idler arm. the spring connects between the idler and the front of the deck. this spring is there to pull the idler back to loosen the belt and apply the brakes. each brake arm has a spring also that pulls the brake into the mandrels. if the springs are ok, check the cable. the cable should be loose when you disengage the places. if it is not loosening when disengaged the cable need to be replaced. the last check to make is on the idler arm. the idler arm has a cam that releases the brakes. i have seen the arm get worn spots where the brake lever rides and cause the mower to not disengage

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business, have a great day.

Q:

Slow leak near defrost overflow PSD2750GRQ Maytag Maytag refrigeration

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. I regret to hear that you are having issues with your fridge and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number PSD2750GRQ and based on the description you have provided I think that the defrost drain trough and or drain tube are blocked. The unit will defrost about twice daily and the moisture from this process runs off the evaporator coils into the drain trough and out the bottom of the freezer to a pan under the bottom of the unit. If the drain is blocked the water fills the trough, run over and into bottom of the freezer and covers the freezer floor, if will eventually run out the door.

_Always disconnect power supply before servicing the appliance and be cautious of any sharp metals while accessing components_

There are two way to clean the drain: the best way is to unload the refrigerator, unplug, open doors and allow 8-10 hours for it to deice. Then access the back of the unit remove machine compartment cover and flush drain with air pressure then warm water using a turkey baster. Be prepared to deal with leaking water from inside and under the bottom.

The other way after manually defrosting is to remove back freezer panel which would involve removing door, rails, ice maker (if applicable) evaporator fan and housing ect. There is a heater probe that can be used as well that will keep the drain from freeazing up. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair.
