Q:

What's the difference between parts 2692-6 and 2692-7? 4502211 Agri-fab Lawn sweeper

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

The difference between the parts is side specific. Pinion gear 2692-6 is for the right hand side, and pinion gear 2692-7 is for the left hand side.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

Model # 11027087604 Kenmore Washer: oL code appearing on all cycles 11027087604 Kenmore Elite Residential washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your washer displays an error code.

I did look into the error code and the oL code means Overloaded. oL flashes when the machine/motor control detects a load size that exceeds the washer's capacity or basket cannot disengage.

? Load size exceeds washer capacity.
Remove excess laundry, then restart cycle.
? Mechanical friction on drive mechanism,
not allowing the basket to disengage.

If it only occurs on large loads it may be due to
overloading. If it occurs more often, remove the basket and check for corrosion that can prevent the
basket from floating. If the issue is corrosion, do not replace the basket. Install the bearing kit per
TB26-92; it comes with a treated shaft to resist corrosion.

W10435302 is the bearing and driveshaft kit.

I can see this washer malfunction would make it impossible to get through just one wash cycle. This does sound like the lid switch.  The washer will not progress through its cycles if it is not making contact.  Try the bypass method in this link to test the switch.  To replace the lid switch, order part# 8318084 from Sears Parts Direct. If you do not feel comfortable making these checks and repairs, a Sears technician can be scheduled here; Sears Home Services .

Please reply if further help is needed.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

The link provided above resulted in an error message ... can you please provide the detailed link, rather than the shortcut. also, will the lid switch potentially also fix the second problem ... getting 'stuck' in spin cycle? Thank you.

A:

If you have to slam the lid to start the washer the lid switch needs repair or replacement. The test in the above link will not be needed. If the timer is not progressing past a cycle, then the timer may also need to be repaired or replaced. The parts image for these parts will help identify. I have added a video to show how. Remember to disconnect power to the washer before accessing any parts.
