Q:

I hit a button on my insginia tv and now I can not even get a picture or sound Can only help I don't know what I did to it ?

A:

Try unplugging it for 3 minutes and see if that will reboot it. Did you hit a button on the remote or the TV itself? I provided a link below that will briefly discuss the issue you're having. If you can locate your model number, send it to us. That way we can be specific when we do our research. I hope you can get your TV working again. Best of luck

Hello Beth,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your TV and I would like to assist you. It is likely that the video mode (Antenna, Cable, Video 1, etc...) has been changed. I have attached an excerpt from the owner's manual that explains how to change the video mode for the television.

Please let me know if you would like any further assistance.

Q:

What can I do if my TV had it’s picture and sound go out?

A:

I would unplug the set and leave it unplugged for a few minutes. This is done to try and release any lockup the TV might have gotten and would be the same advice whether you have a CRT direct view or a flat panel LCD display. Make sure you check the AC at the outlet as well. Although I wouldn't recommend someone taking a meter to their socket on this website, I would suggest trying a lamp or other device you know would work there.

From this point on I might be able to give some more detailed advice based on what type of TV you have. If you are unsure what it is, the model number is all I need to find out. This is usually found on a sticker on the back. Knowing what was going on when this happened is great information as well. A simple surge during an electrical storm can pop a line fuse in a TV and be a quick replacement. If possible resubmit with more information so I can better provide advice.

Here is a direct link for the manual on your range: Owner's Manual . If you have trouble opening that link, let me know.

The F2 code indicates that the control is sensing a high temperature in the oven. Since this is happening when the oven is off, it is possible that you have a bad oven temperature sensor probe (part WB21X5301). You can check that sensor using a volt/ohm meter as shown in this video: Oven Sensor Testing . The image below shows to to remove the sensor in your oven for testing. Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breaker for the range before accessing internal components. That sensor should measure around 1100 ohms. If the sensor measures over 1500 ohms at room temperature, it will need to be replaced.

You can order that part from the Sears PartsDirect website.

If the sensor is okay, you could have a problem with the wiring harness or the clock control board.

I recommend that you have a service technician diagnose and repair the range if you suspect that you have type of failure. Here is a link for the Sears Service website: Sears Home Services .

I have the same type of oven in a rental home and it also has the f2 code blinking, I took the reading of resistence on the senser and it was 2609 ohm on a digital meter. I assume that I will need to change that senser is that right?
