Sears Service email seems to be messed up. I'm the guy who aked about the EOC problems and Sears sent my question back to me as a comment. My question was also messed up ;with some extra characters: such as "&#39, #40 & #41, etc, thrown into my question and details narrative. Al Rice

Thank You for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com

I understand your frustration with purchasing a new stove that doesn't want to work.

The PF error code is a Power Failure. This means that there is a distribution between the power and the control board. I would suggest that you check the circuit breakers for your house first. You will need to turn them off and wait for about 10 minutes, then turn them back on. If waiting ten minutes doesn't work then your range might not be getting the correct amount of electricity. They range needs a minimum of 125/250 volts, make sure you also have the correct power cord that can handle this voltage. If you have verified that the range is receiving the correct amount of voltage. Since your new unit should be under warranty then you would want to contact Sears Home Services so they can come out and test the EOC unit and replace it if neccessary. Hi Gary,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

The transaxle was sealed at the factory and fluid maintenance is not required for the life of the transaxle. This tractor has a Hydro Gear 22-3010L Transaxle. The transaxle was sealed at the factory and fluid maintenance is not required for the life of the transaxle. I called Hydro-Gear Corporate 1411 south Hamilton ST. Sullivan, Ill. 61951 Phone 217-728-2581 and spoke with Tom. He told me if you have no leaks or problems with it, don't mess with it. If you do need to add oil he said it uses 10W-40 motor oil.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website; Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram or purchase any parts needed for your appliance; Sears Parts Direct .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance please reply to this post.
