Question and Answers

Q:

access to motor evap f 253-9260210

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I know how frustrating it is to have issues with the freezer, especially issues with the fan motor. I reference key numbers below corresponding to the Sears Parts schematic of the unit for clarification.

It's located behind the back panel in the freezer (# 25 in picture). Everything in the freezer will need to be taken out, so the back panel can be removed. Remove the screws holding the panel and it can be taken out. Be sure to disconnect power to the unit first. Remove the evaporator cover (key#25) by removing the screws (key#71A) along the top and two (2) near the bottom corners. The screw for the control knob will also need to be removed so the knob can be taken off.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

dimensions 2539260210

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
This upright freezer was manufactured in 1996, and due to the age of it we don't have much information on it for specs or operation.
I can tell you the cubic feet capacity on this unit is 15.8 cu/ft. However, I could not find the dimensions for the unit. We recommend taking physical measurements on it with a tape measure or yard stick. You will want to measure width, depth, and height.
Hope this helps out and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
