Q:

upright freezer 2539234110 Kenmore Upright freezer

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

The factory pre-set position for temperature is at 1. The higher the position, the colder it is, the lower the position, the warmer it gets.

For convenience, I have included a blue link below that you may click on to be directed to ManageMyLife.com to view and download the owners manual for the upright freezer. It doesn't have a whole lot to say on the temperature control, but gives the basics on page 3. Hopefully it helps.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance not working.

The issue with the freezer not coming on, check the outlet with a lamp and make sure there is voltage at the wall. If there is the power distribution to the cold control device in the freezer is possibly faulty.  In the case of the power I would recommend a Sears Home Services technician check the freezer for you.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

Bill
