Thank you for submitting your question, I can understand your concern. I will be glad to assist you. If it's not cooling, the buzzing sound will probably be the temp alarm. Now, if the compressor is hot, it indicates that it has been running and overheated. This can be due to poor air movement, which could happen in a tight enclosed area. It could also be due to a low charge, the compressor itself or a defective starting device on the compressor. These are checks a technician will be required to make.
