Good morning..... We'd be happy to assist you with this problem. I did locate a link that will discuss this situation in greater detail. Though this link discusses a different model number, the mechanics are likely going to be very similar. Keep in mind that an expert will be responding within the next two business days if not sooner and will likely offer you more information and instruction. I hope this link will help guide you as to what might be wrong with your ice maker and have a nice day.

Thank you for your question. I know it can be disappointing when the icemaker stops working. This can be a problem with the icemaker itself, the water valve or the temperature in the freezer. First, check the freezer temperature, if it gets above 12 degrees, the icemaker may not cycle. To check the temperature, place a thermometer between some packages. If the temperature is too high, usually adjusting the control to a colder setting will correct this. If the temperature is ok, place the icemaker into a cycle and it may help determine the problem. To cycle this icemaker pull the front cover off and you will see a large and small gear (see image). Use a screwdriver and turn the small gear counterclockwise about a 1/4 turn or until the icemaker starts running on its own. If the icemaker # 241642501 cycles and fills now, it will indicate it's not cycling on its own and will need to be replaced. If it cycles but does not fill and if you can hear a humming sound from the back of the unit, it will indicate the valve # 241803703 is being energized but not opening and will need to be replaced. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will assist you further.
