just solved the same problem with my kitchen-aid side by side...check your owner's manual for a rebuild/restore kit that will replace the worn out fittings that position and align the bottom of the door to the bottom hinge; or call sears (1-800-for-my-home) follow the prompts to get to parts explain the situation to the technician and i'm certain he will send you the necessary "kit"...very inexpensive and easy to accomplish yourself

You may not need parts to solve this problem. Page 8 of your owner's manual shows the procedure for removing the door on your refrigerator. The likely cause of this problem is a bent bottom door hinge. I provided an image below that shows this bottom door hinge. That door hinge may be bent or loose. Check the screws that fasten that hinge to the frame of the refrigerator. If those screws are loose, tightening them properly may fix your problem. You may also be able to slightly adjust the alignment of the door by loosening those screws and then holding the door in the proper position while re-tightening those screws firmly in place. If that hinge is bent, you may be able to remove it and straighten in. If you are not able to straighten it, it may need to be replaced. It is part number 240314001. You can order that part from the Sears PartsDirect website. It costs around $13.

This information along with your personal observation may help you fix this door alignment problem on your refrigerator. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details and we will gladly try to help you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
