Question and Answers

Q:

Refrigerator not cooling. Freezer Fine.

A:

I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your refrigerator. The refrigerator section can quit cooling if the air flow gets restricted. A good way to check this is by checking the air flow from the vent and then open the freezer door and check it again. If the air flow increases with the freezer door open, it indicates there is a restriction in the return air vent. If this is the case, you will need to leave the unit off for a few hours to let it thaw out. If the light is staying on or if the door gasket is not sealing good, it can also create this type of problem. If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, please click on this link to schedule service: Sears Home Services. Click on "Get Started" and follow the directions, click on the red "NEXT" button to continue. I hope this helps. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help. Thank you for using Manage My Life.com.

Q:

Will the replacement motor work in this refrigerator?

A:

The motor you received is a good replacement. It's the same motor a technician would install. This motor should be the same as the original. If you need more assistance you can resubmit your question with more details.
