Q:

Fridge not cooling 25363742302

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number 25363742302 and if the fridge is not cooling you will want to make sure the temperature control (item 12 in the diagram) is working properly. This part controls the temperature in the fridge by activiting the fan in the freezer to only move cold air that is already in the freezer into the fridge. When the freezer is getting to its temperature this is when you will hear the fan and the compressor operating at the same time.  I recommend setting the temperature in the fridge to its coldest setting and leave for 24 hours and see if the fridge temperature changes. If there is not change you have a bad control. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. If you have further questions please resubmit your question for further information.

Q:

fridge not cooling 25363742302 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more then happy to assist you. In the freezer there is a evap fan. That's blows the cold air down into the fridge. Now knowing that there are two things that could be bad. One is the evap fan or motor. Or its could be a bad Temperature control. The only way to check to see witch one is bad would be to get an ohm test on the control and see if its still got continuity. On the switch. If it dose fan motor if it dosent temp control. Hope this information has help you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can Click Here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Any further questions or concerns. You will have to post a new question because at this time I can not reply to any comments. Again, Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.
