Q:

Refrigerator water wont dispence 2535569340B Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thanks for contacting manage my life about your refrigerator model 253.5569340B sorry you are having a problem with the water dispensing, I will be glad to assist you.  The most common reason water will not dispense is because of a frozen water line in the back of the fresh food section. You can access the tubing behind the crispers, use a hair dryer and apply warm air to the tubing (not hot air) this should free the water supply if it had been frozen. After thawing the line consider resetting the controls to prevent this from happening again.  Often just not using the fresh food section for a few days will cause freezing also (vacation, weekend away).Next if this does not help there could be a switch in the dispenser bad, or the inlet valve (water to door side) that has failed. When you press the actuator for water, you should hear a slight hum or buzz coming from the back (inlet valve is where water supply connects to refrigerator), it should have voltage applied when calling for water as well. _Always disconnect power supply before servicing the appliance and when testing live voltage be sure to wear proper safety equipment (gloves and eye protection) also be aware of sharp metals on product_

I hope this helps if you need more assistance reply with added details and I will be happy to respond.
