More info: Thanks, but I don't need parts. I don't need the owners manual. I replaced both control boards for the icemaker. I want to know the exact connection of the 4 colored wires: Brown 1, Brown 2, Silver, and Orange. There are 4 connection points: top left, top right, bottom left, and bottom right. I want to know which wires connect to which connection points.

I'm sorry you are having a problem with your icemaker. Unfortunately, there is not a repair manual for this icemaker. The wires you are referring to apparently must be at the dispenser board and not the icemaker. The icemaker wires are black, light blue, yellow and green. Please check the wire diagrams sent to you previously to see if they help you. If you would like more assistance, please include more details of where these wires are located. By this I mean, are they in the dispenser area? Any additional details will be helpful, in being able to provide you the information you're looking for.

More info: There are no relevant wiring diagrams in the owners manual. Refridgerator is two door model with outside ice dispenser and control, model 25355693407. The control on the outside of the door (push for crushed ice, push for water, etc.) shorted out. I replaced the two control boards in the ice dispenser control panel on the outside of the freezer door. Those parts are:46-253-241768307 board control. 46-253-241708102- board power 46-253-241680002-harness (refridgerator parts). There are 4 colored wires on the bottom of the control board that lead from the control board and connect, to 4 terminals inside the door. These terminals are arranged 2 on top and 2 on bottom. The wires are, from left to right, brown, brown, orange, and silver. When I disconnected the old board, I got distracted and didn't write down which wire connects to which terminal. I connected the new board: Top Left: Silver. Top Right: Orange. Bottom Left: brown2. Bottom right, Brown1. Is this right?

Unfortunately, there are no diagrams that show the configuration of these wires. However, after consulting with the source on this, it was determined that the silver (gray) wire is for the ice and fits in the bottom left terminal and the orange is for the water and fits in the bottom right terminal. Both brown wires are common and doesn't matter which one fits at the top left and right. I hope this will help you.

Q:

Wiring sequence for Kenmore Fridge Ice Maker Controls?

A:

Additional info: - Cube and Crushed ice buttons dispense crushed ice only. Can't tell if the other functions are working right- didn't test them because I was afraid I may have connected them in the wrong sequence. I replaced the boards and harness because water burned them out.

Replacing loose wires can be tricky and difficult sometimes, especially if they were already loose, before they could be identified, where they fit. I'm sending you some pictures of the wiring diagrams and I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, a more detailed description of the location where the wires attach will be helpful. If you can send a picture of the wires and board that you are attaching them to would be very helpful.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

This will be an air flow problem. Apparently you found the problem with the damper not closing. There is an updated complete control assembly # 5303918283 that will correct this type of problem. It's available at SearsPartsDirect . This can be a complicated kit to install and a technician may be needed. I'm listing a site you can access, to have a tech come out. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services . If you would like more assistance, additional details will be needed.
