Often replacement parts are not exactly the same as original parts. In your case you may need to get smaller spade clips for the wiring. Thanks, for trying to help. I went ahead and removed the panel and inspected. The ice despenser assembly swings on a shaft. The shaft had worked its way out of the support on one side, causing the assy to be in a bind. I pressed the shaft back into its correct position in its support bushing. Works like new now!
