Q:

Top of freezer and fridge are warm, bottom of both are cold 25355679402 Kenmore Refrigerator

Q:

Why won't the icemaker kick the ice out?

A:

If there is no ice building up anywhere, it indicates the icemaker is not cycling or water would be filling on top of the ice in the mold and running over. This means that either the icemaker thermostat is not closing or the temperature in the freezer is, not cold enough to cycle the icemaker. If the temperature is 10 degrees or above, the icemaker will not cycle. To check the temperature, place a thermometer between some packages, air temperature is not a good check. If the temperature is too high, adjust the control to a colder setting. If the temperature is ok, between 0 - 5 degrees, the icemaker # 5303918344 will probably need to be replaced. This can be checked by cycling it. To cycle this icemaker, press and hold the on/off for 15 seconds. The icemaker should now cycle and fill at the end of the cycle. If it does cycle and fill, replacing the icemaker will be more economical, then replacing the thermostat. It's available at SearsPartsDirect . If you need more assistance, please resubmit your question, with additional details.
