Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you are having this problem with the refrigerator. This model has a more complex control system and may require a technician to check it. However, a good check that may determine the problem will be to, manually place it into the defrost mode. To do this, press and hold the freezer temperature up (warmer) key while pressing the fresh food temperature down (colder) key 5 times within 6 seconds. The unit should stop running when this is activated. After a few minutes if you can hear a sizzling or popping sound inside the freezer, it will indicate the element is working. In this case, the control # 5303918342 will need to be replaced. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will assist you further.
