I can understand your concern. The information you have received from Celene is correct. When checking the plunger, to see if it lifts upward, be sure to press and hold the door light switch in. The switch has to be pressed closed, to get voltage to the dispenser. I'm attaching a picture of the bucket assembly and components. The solenoid assembly is # 45. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, any additional details will be helpful. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Lyle -Thank you for the diagrams and information. They should help. Before I received these diagrams I reinstalled the Control Box - Rear Section without the styrofoam piece around the Food Compartment Damper Control. This resulted in the food compartment getting colder. Are there any other issues running without this styrofoam piece? Thanks again for the information, I should be able to reinstall correctly.

You may not be able to control the temperature in the refrigerator as well with that styrofoam part left out. I recommend that you leave it in place. If you need more help, reply with additional details.
