Q:

Refrigerator Water dispenser leaks when ice maker calls for water. 253.54333301

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your refrigerator and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 25354333301 and I first recommend replacing the filter if it has been more than 6-12 months since it was last replaced. Once the filter is replaced the line will need to be purged. The only way the water dispenser will leak water when the ice maker is asking for water is if the valve for the dispenser is being activated somehow when the solenoid for the ice maker is activated. I recommend disconnecting the refrigerator for 5 minutes and reconnecting. You did not indicate how much water is leaking. Here is a link that will help test the valve. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.
