I'm sorry you are having this problem with your icemaker. After installing a new icemaker it can take a few hours for it to cycle. If it still won't make any ice, it can be manually cycled, which may help determine what the problem is. To cycle this icemaker, remove the front cover and you will see a large and small gear. Turn the small gear counterclockwise about a 1/4 turn and the icemaker should start into a cycle (see picture). Now watch the complete cycle and toward the end, it should fill. If it does not fill but you can hear a humming sound, it will indicate the water valve is being energized but is not opening or the fill tube behind the icemaker is frozen. In either case the valve # 241734301 will need to be replaced. If the fill tube is frozen you can use a hair dryer to thaw it out. Just be careful not to get it too hot.

If the icemaker cycles and fills, it will indicate the freezer temperature is not cold enough (below 10 degrees) or the icemaker thermostat is not closing. If the temperature is not cold enough, usually adjusting the control to a colder setting will correct this problem. If the temperature is ok, now wait to see if the icemaker cycles, now that it has filled with water. If it still doesn't cycle, the icemaker may need to be exchanged. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, any additional details will be helpful and I will be glad to assist you further.
