Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how important it is to have information on your appliances. After some research I found the manual for model 110.44934200. Click here for that manual. on this model the only thing it shows that can be taken out to clean is the bucket. That information is on page 6. I do hope this helps.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance.

Dehumidifiers can make a room comfortable on these hot, steamy summer days. I see your unit has started making noise on start up. I see there is a previous question that seems to point to the fan as a possible cause. I attached the post to the second link below so you can check it yourself. I also attached the owner's manual and the schematics and parts list for your dehumidifier if needed. I hope this information helps while you wait for the expert review.

Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern. Before replacing the motor, I recommend trying to lube it first, as suggested in the information you have received. If the motor # 327650410 is still making this noise, it will need to be replaced. It's available at SearsPartsDirect . The cabinet will need to be removed to access the motor. Remove the screws holding the cabinet in place. I hope this will help you. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

Our kenmore dehumidifier 25350450000 overflows even when there is a hose attached to drain it. How can I fix it?

A:

When an appliance doesn't work properly or gives out it can be very disappointing because you don't really know what is wrong with it or you might even have to buy a whole different appliance. A suggestion I have for you while you are waiting on your response from an expert is visiting this great link I found on Dehumidifier. I have attached the link below if you are interested in viewing while waiting on your response from an expert. Hope this helps, good luck

Thank you for your question.

I can see how this problem could be a puzzle to solve. But I am sure we should be able to come to a solution. I cannot imagine how what you described you did, would have any effect on the operation.

Is the drain hose connected to the pump side or the gravity flow drain side?

  • Remove the bucket and check the float in the left hand corner to make sure it is not stuck in the up position. It just rides in a channel in the bucket and when the water lifts the float the tab comes off the switch and it shuts the unit off.

  • If the pump light is on the bucket should fill about half way and then the pump should run to empty the bucket. If you move this unit to a different area of the house make sure that it is level. If it is severely not level it could inhibit the float to work properly.

One other thing you could check. Remove the bucket and look where the tab of the float engages with the full bucket switch lever. With unit in the on position reach in with your thumb to activate the switch and the compressor should come on. If you release the lever and the compressor does not stop the switch has failed.

I have included a link for service if you cannot solve the problem.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .

I hope this will help.
