Thank you for your question. I understand your concern about the water leak. Yes, you are correct. The drain hose # 29 does need to be connected to the drain # 32. The drain # 32 is connected to the drain channel in the floor under the evaporator. Every time the freezer goes into a defrost cycle, water runs down to the drain and should go through the drain hose to the drain pan # 31A. To connect the drain hose, it should just push up on to the drain. If the hose feels loose a clamp may be needed. There is no specific clamp for this but any local hardware store will have a small hose clamp that will work fine. I hope this will help you.
