Q:

Refrigerator not cooling 25344723110

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

It sounds like the door gasket isn’t sealing properly. I would do the dollar bill check. Get a crisp dollar bill and place in between the door and the unit. Close the door and try to pull the dollar out, if it come out too easy then the gasket needs replaced. Make sure you go all around the door to check the whole gasket. Also check for visual cracks and tears in the gasket itself.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.

Q:

I have order 2 Gallon Door Shelves for my refer over the last 2 Years. They don't seem to fit right. 25344723110 Kenmore Elite Refrigerator

A:

Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about your Kenmore Elite refrigerator model 25344723110. I am so sorry you are having difficulty with the gallon door bins. I will be happy to help you with this.

The manufacturer lists only one part number for door bin on your refrigerator. It is the part you have ordered, 240338001. This is not a gallon door bin, it is a 2-liter bin. The pseudo bin at the bottom of the door is the gallon retainer. I have included the instructions on installing the bins at the bottom of this post. I hope this answers your question. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

Q:

Refrigerator door warped? 25344723110 Kenmore Elite Refrigerator

A:

The trick to getting the door gasket to mate properly to the cabinet is to loosen all the screws securing the gasket and inner panel to the door. Just loosen all the screws 1 to 1 1/2 turns and then open the door. With door open slightly, hold the top corner of the door from moivng inward and push the bottom corner of the door inwards. Shut the door and check if the gasket is sealing at the bottom. If so, open the door and tighten the screws. You may have to repeat these steps until you can get the door gasket to seal properlly up and down the handle side of the door.

The door not closing as it used to is likely due to the door closer cam at the bottom of the door. There is a door closer "ramp" that causes the door to rises slightly up a ramp when opened and the door slides down the ramp to close. It could be damaged or worn.
