Wrong error code. It's L1 FF, not ER FF.

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you are having this problem with the refrigerator. This error code refers to the evaporator fan motor. It could be a problem with the fan motor or the control board. If the motor is running, the most likely problem will be with the control board, however, it still could be a faulty motor. Even if the motor is running, if it does not send a signal back to the board, the motor would need to be replaced. If the motor is not running, some voltage checks will need to be made, to determine, if the motor or board has failed. Now by disconnecting it and then reconnecting it, this resets the board. If the error code is gone now and the beeping has stopped, it may have corrected the problem. If the temperatures do not drop, if the fan motor is still running and there is no frost accumulating on the back wall, it could be a sealed system problem. I would recommend having a technician make these checks and repair. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will assist you further.

I suspect the power outage caused a power surge and damaged the main control board. The main control board costs $153.03. This diagnosis is best made by a technician. I recommend you go to Home Services and get a Sears technician to repair the refrigerator.
