Q:

Still no water from dispenser 25344362502 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your refrigerator. Upon researching model 25344362502; it sounds like there is a clog in the tubing. I rarely see a clog in that particular tubing. Try using compressed air to remove the clog. The tubing could need to be replaced if it’s unable to be cleaned out. Click here for diagram. The tubing is number 1 in the diagram.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Q:

no water at the water dispenser 25344362502

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your refrigerator and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 25344362502 and if the water is not being sent to the dispenser from the valve then I would suspect that the micro switch item 38a may have failed. Here is a link that will help with additional troubleshooting. The chance of there being a clog in the line is highly unlikely. I have included a link to our Parts Direct page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.

Thanks for the replay. Without hesitation, and not giving it a second thought, I pulled the control, and I realize that you must have not fully read my problem, or I did not make myself very clear. When I press the water supply paddle I could hear a click and then some noise associated with it, also I am not sure if you are aware but there is a quick disconnect join at the bottom of the freezer door. Well if I remove the hose from the joint at the bottom of the freezer door, and press the water dispenser paddle at the freezer door I hear a clicking sound, and immediately water comes rushing out the hose. That tells me, one the micro switch at the door is working, and 2 since the water comes out of the bottom of the freezer door hose that the water valve it's working. However, since I had the panel out I figure I go to the garage and grab my fluke, putting it across the micro switch connectors the meter shows infinity, and when I press the water dispenser paddle I get about 1 ohm. any ideas? Thanks

Thank you for your question. The diode harness is # 5303918287 and the water valve is # 241734301. These parts are available at SearsPartsDirect . Now, when making a voltage, with the current flowing to the primary valve coil through the diode, you are getting 30 cycle instead of 60 cycle current at the coil of the primary valve. Because of this, your meter will only read about 1/2 the voltage that is going to the coil. I'm attaching some information to check the water system on this refrigerator. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.
