Question and Answers

Q:

My refridgerator keeps beeping 25344362500 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

I understand your concern about the beeping sound and light. This will normally be a problem with the light switch but the control board can also cause this problem. A good check will be to manually press and hold the light switch in and if the beeping stops, the switch will need to be replaced. I hope this will help you. IWhen pushing the doors causes it to work again it indicates either the doors are not making a good connection with the door switch or the door switch is defective. Check the inner panel on the doors to make sure there is no indention where they make contact with the door switch. Sometimes the doors need to be adjusted to make better contact. If the doors are closing good the switch contacts must be weak. If this is the case the switches will have to be replaced. If you need more assistance you can resubmit your question with more details. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Thank you! The refridgerator is no longer running. On the freezer side there is a backwards E, insead of a number, and on the fridge side, it's an "F" and it doesn't seem to be running, although all the lights work. could this have to do with the control board? what is the cost to replace that?
