A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your refrigerator. Upon researching model 25331619103; it sounds like the defrost timer may need to be replaced. The defrost timer allows the timer to defrost the unit so that the freezer does not start to develop frost or ice, so when it fails it can cause the freezer to start developing ice or frost inside. I have posted a link of the defrost timer to view the link click here.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Q:

My Kenmore refrigerator, model 253.31619103 leaks water into the inside bottom of the refrigerator.

A:

Thanks for contacting manage my life about your refrigerator model 25331619103; sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you. Normally if the drain hole in the trough under the coil is clogged there will be ice filling the drain trough and out into the insulation, this ice would take days to disburse and drain into the refrigerator section before totally drying up.  Could this be the issue now? Also the drain trough when clear, drains into the control box in the top of the fresh food section then out the back of the unit to the drain pan. Check to see that the drain is not clogged at the control box.If you find the drain trough under the evaporator coil is continually freezing up then you should install a drain probe. This is just a piece of heavy copper wire (un-insulated) wrapped around the heater  then going into the drain hole about one inch. This small amount of heat during each defrost cycle will prevent the drain from freezing over.  Try these tips, if you need more help reply with added details and I will be happy to respond. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.Ron H.

Thank you for your response. Upon further reading of this site, I found where someone noted that the temperature at the back of the fresh food section of the refrigerator gets colder and freezes the drain. I lowered the temperature of the fresh food section and now the drain has stopped freezing and is draining properly. Thank you again.
