Q:

Digital Readout does "Cabinet Temperature" mean Internal Temp? 25328092800 Kenmore Elite Freezer

A:

The correct model number may be 16082. Kenmore Elite 19.7 chest freezer. Just received another useless answer from Sears Direct Customer support via e-mail. This is the response: I have searched my databases entirely and it does not state if the control on the outside of your freezer shows the current temperature or set temperature. I recommend using our "Ask an Expert" tool to submit your question to a technical specialist for troubleshooting and solutions. I will provide a link below for you to use! http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/category/appliances

Yadira, thanks for the link but the manual isn't specific on if it can be adjusted. right now, it's too quiet, pretty much worthless as an alarm. In fact, I would say false advertising since it is sooo quiet. Anyone else help?

Thank You for using ManageMyLife.com

I can understand how importantant it is to be able to hear the temperature alarm. After researching your model I found that the alarm does not have a volume adjustment setting. I'm showing the alarm is supposed to go off if the internal temp rises above 23 degrees and the alarm will continue to go off every hour  and show the letter "E" on the screen until the temperature decreases or the unit is repaired.

If you have further questions please let me know.
