Thank you for your question on the battery replacement on the freezer.

At the bottom of the freezer down by the floor on the right hand of the toe plate there is a small compartment with a door about 1 inch by 2 inches and you will need to use your thumb nail or a butter knife to pop open and replace the 9 volt battery.

Reference the image below and look at parts keys 103 and 102 in the picture.

I hope this will help.

Hi,

Thank you for your question. It is concerning when the freezer is not functioning correctly.

The CE code is a communications error code from the display on the door to the control panel underneath the freezer. The most usual problem is the harness connector that comes from the cabinet to the bottom of the door. Another problem is the wiring harness inside the door or a loose connection at the main control board.

If you disconnect the display the unit will cease to function and will not cool. I am sorry, but you can check the wiring harness at the door hinge and disconnect and reconnect it. It problem could be the display board or the wiring inside the door, but the door would have to be replaced or the display board.

Again I am sorry but, parts must be replace for the problem to be corrected. Let me know what the outcome of the harness connector disconnect and reconnect is.
