Thank you for submitting your question. I know the alarm sounding can be very frustrating and I will be happy to assist you. First, make sure the seal is in good contact with the cabinet flange, no gaps. If the freezer alarm is sounding and the food is thawing, it appears it's getting too warm and the alarm is working okay. The freezer should maintain a temperature between 0-5 degrees and if it gets above 15 degrees, then the alarm will sound. This could be a thermostat problem, if its keeping the compressor off too long. If the compressor is not running and it's warm inside the cabinet, turn the thermostat to a colder setting. If the compressor comes on, the thermostat (297053902) will need to be replaced. If the compressor still won't run, check if it's hot but be careful. If the compressor is hot, the problem can be with the start kit (216649315) or the compressor (5304452709) has failed. A technician will need to check this. Another possibility is if the compressor is running but there is not a full frost pattern on all the shelves, it indicates problem in the seal system.
