Question and Answers

Q:

how can minimize the defrost cycle? varies greatly my freezer temperature every this happens 25323424101 Kenmore Freezer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your refrigerator. Upon researching model 25323424101; the best way to minimize the defrost cycle is by minimize the amount of times the door is opened. When the door is opened war air enters and cold air exits. The unit will need to cool back down and now there will be moisture due to the warm air. This will cause the unit to start cooling and frosting the coils. Then the defrost cycle will come on sooner than needed.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

A:

Thank you for your question. It's nice to know the size of your freezer and if it's economical to operate. This is a 13.7 cubic foot freezer and it's very economical. The cost will vary. It will depend on the usage, such as how often it's opened and for how long, the location (if in a hot/warm area), the type and amount of food kept in it. I hope this will help you. If you would like to know the size of your mother-in-laws freezer, reply to this thread and please include the complete model and serial number and I will be glad to assist you further.
