Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your freezer. Upon researching model 25311541102; the molding trim pieces snap into place, when the unit has the original trim pieces there will be a strip to cover the gap make sure you keep that strip to place it between the two trim pieces if needed.

Q:

My model number isn't listed. 25311541102 Kenmore Freezer

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry for the confusion on the model number. I know how frustrating issues like this are.

The ending digit represents a revision to the original model. We would ask that you verify the model tag to ensure the model is correct. If so, then there were not any part changes or updates to this model from the original of 253.11541100, and we would recommend using model 253.11541100 for parts.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

A:

Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern about the rising temperature in this freezer. Actually -13 degrees is colder then normal (zero degrees). However, based on the information listed, this would appear to be a defective thermostat or the compressor is getting too hot and shutting off on overload. If this freezer is in a location that can get warm or not much air circulation, there is an external fan kit # 5304411775 that can be installed to help keep the compressor from overheating. If this does not seem to be the case, then the thermostat is probably getting stuck and not cycling properly. In this case, the thermostat # 216714600 would need to be replaced. These parts are available at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.
