How to remove a bearing on my snow blower 247.886640

Q:

Replacing fuel line 247886640 Craftsman Snow blower

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry you are having a problem with your snow blower. I have checked the service manuals we have here and they do not show the routing of the fuel line. I have provided you with an image below showing the engine parts. The part that I have marked in red is the blower housing baffle. The fuel line runs between the top tabs of that baffle and the engine block. If you have the blower housing removed you should be able to push the fuel line in behind the baffle. I usually used a screwdriver to pry out on the baffle to give me more room to slide it through. The tabs keep the fuel line away from the flywheel.

Q:

Torque & bolt tightening order 247886640 Craftsman Snow blower

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

The head bolts on this model should be torqued to 200 in/lbs., or 16.5 ft/lbs. The bolts should be tightened in a criss cross sequence building up to the final torque. I have linked the model specific Service manual below. This engine is equivalent to Tecumseh's HSSK-050.
