Hello Paul. I see that Alina posted a link for a previous answer on similar range hood that describes how to remove the touch pad. That same general procedure should work on your model as well.  Shut off the house circuit breaker for the range hood to completely disconnect electrical power before beginning that repair. You can then remove the wiring box cover to access the main control board. Unplug the ribbon wire connector for the touch pad. You should then be able to snap the touch pad out of the front console and remove it.
