Q:

Replacing the touch pad 2335538910 Kenmore Range hood

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your range hood and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 2335538910 and from the diagram it would indicate that the keypad will come out as a piece but if the model you have does not reflect that then you may have to cut out the old one being that the part you have is a substituted part. I recommend looking from the back side of the board and determine where the proper place to cut will be or if there is anything holding the keypad in place that can be removed. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.

Q:

How do I turn off a shrill twitter sound that started in my Kenmore Hood coming from the heat sensor?

A:

From what you described I suspect the control board. The control board has a warning buzzer that if the control area starts overheating past 65 degrees C. the buzzer will come on until the area cools off. The sensor on this model is built onto the control board. I recommend replacing the control board assembly.
