It sounds like there is a problem with the carburetor on your saw. You will need to service (or have serviced) the carburetor. I recommend getting a carburetor overhaul kit and going over the whole carb to alleviate this problem. Depending on price, it may be a better (quicker) option to just get a replacement carburetor.

Thank you for using Manage My Life!

Hello,

I would like to assist you with your chainsaw. I have several suggestions for you that should remedy your problem. I would start by draining the fuel out of the tank and flushing the fuel system completely. Then, carefully inspect the lines and any other parts for damage of any type. After that, ensure that the carburetor is securely attached and the seals are in good shape.

Here is a video showing lines being changed on a 2 stroke engine. It is a different type and on a trimmer, but the principle is the same.

Here is a little more information on line replacement and location.

You can find parts for your chainsaw at Sears Parts Direct .

Please let me know if you would like any further assistance.

A:

To determine which model it is, you will need to check on the model and serial tag on the chain saw. It's the only place this type of information will be listed. If you need more assistance, please resubmit your question, with additional details.
